HOLY WEEK 2013: Visita Iglesia

As it is a Roman Catholic Filipino tradition to be doing a Visita Iglesia (It is when you visit 7 churches and recite various prayers or do the Stations of the Cross), this year, my family went around Metro Manila. We didn't take the usual route because there would be too many people but we still completed all 7 churches even if we went to different ones. We started pretty late around 8:30 pm so we decided to just go around near where we lived.

First church we went to was Sto.Niño de Violago Chapel along E.Rodriguez Avenue.

Second was the Chapel of the Carmel of StTherese of the Child Jesus

Third church we went to was the Parish of the Holy Sacrifice (also known as University of the Philippines Diliman Chapel)

4th church was St. Peter Parish among Commonwealth Avenue

5th church was Parish of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary (Twin Hearts) in West Triangle, QC

6th church was Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Kamuning, QC

7th church and lastly, St.Paul the Apostle Parish which is our Parish church.

We ended our trip around midnight and went straight home.
quality of the pictures above are not too good as they were taken at night and with an iPhone. :)
