Live Life Beautifully. ♬ ♪ ♫

"Few things in the world are more powerful than a positive push. A smile. A world of optimism and hope. A 'you can do it' when things are tough" - Richard DeVos

It's been a while since I last posted. I honestly haven't had the time to do anything. (sorry, guys) So, to make it up to you, I've made a playlist of some songs that I just recently discovered that makes me feel really happy and I guess I could consider them as life anthems. They're not exactly my all time favourites but the vibe and the essence of these songs gives me a sense of empowerment and confidence especially in times of difficulty.

Recently, I've realized that I've been stressing out on the littlest things that don't really matter. I guess I've underestimated my own self-involvement; over-thinking/analyzing what I do or have done to the point where I think that people notice every little thing that I do when in fact, they don't really care. I honestly also get too frustrated with myself when I can't do something. Here's a tip: Try not to be like me. I don't want you guys to feel what I felt and believe me, the feeling sucks a lot. Someone once told me that we all have our own insecurities, own weaknesses but we shouldn't over think the fact that people will judge. Criticism will come across but don't take it negatively but as motivation for improvement. We should be telling ourselves that 'WE CAN do it' because what you feed yourself is what your mind and body will remember and do. What you might be feeling now will all go away soon and it will be worth it because all these challenges we face now are preparing us for what's to come ahead. So, always think positively and don't let anyone or even the littlest things affect you because at the end of the day, only you can define yourself and only you can make yourself feel good.

Well, I hope this playlist will help you guys with everything that you've been experiencing this summer may it be good or bad and to make you feel happy for what new memories, friends you've made this season and to motivate you to face the challenges you might experience in the somewhere on your journey.

Along with the playlist, I'll post some photos (from tumblr and google images) to enlighten and inspire you or to make you feel better about anything that may bring you down.

Making one person smile can change the world. Maybe not the whole world - but their world.
"If you have good thoughts, they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely" -Roald Dahl
Life's a journey with problems to solve, lessons to learn but most of all, experiences to enjoy.
"Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine" - Anthony J. D'Angelo
Happiness is not determined by what's happening around you, but rather what's happening inside you. Most people depend on other to gain happiness, but the truth is, it always comes from within.
"Everyone has highs and lows that they have to learn from, but every morning, I start off with a good head on my shoulder, saying to myself 'It's going to be a good day!'" - Lindsay Lohan

Here are my favourite lyrics and some insights from each song.

If You Want To Sing Out, Sing Out - Cat Stevens:

"And if you want to be you, be you 'cause there's a million things to do. You know that there are"
We all have hopes and dreams in life and all we have to do is to motivate ourselves to reach them. This song tells how we have the freedom to do anything and that there are so many opportunities to achieve what we want in life. We may already know what's in store for us, we just have to set our minds to keep going and never lose hope.

Sing It Out - Bob Bradley
"Sing it from the back no more"
There are times when we are limited - when we hold back and when we're scared. We should try to push our limits and break the shell that holds us back. We should tell ourselves that we can do it; that we don't have to hide but believe in ourselves to reach out and stop thinking about what negativity could come.

We Are Golden - MIKA

"I was running from the things that you'd say. We are not what you think we are. We are golden, we are golden"
The message of the song, for me, is to stand up for yourself and to not mind what bad things anyone might say about you. Prove them wrong and believe and have confidence in yourself

It's A Beautiful Day - Michael Buble

"I know there's no denying it's a beautiful day, the sun is up, the music's playing and even if it started raining, you wont hear this boy complaining"
We have to start out each day (no matter what the weather is) with a smile on our faces and positivity in our minds and even if something might turn out bad, don't stress over it too much, just keep calm,  because things will soon be okay.

On My Way - Charlie Brown

"Stand up and never say never 'cause this life is gonna get better. Take a breath, shake it off and say I'm on my way"
Despite any downfall that may happen, we have to try our best to get back up and think of it as inspiration and preparation for our future. Shake off anything that might be bugging you, just let lose and don't stop believing in what you want to achieve

Same Love - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis

"Live on! and be yourself"
This song tells us that we should not let anyone tell us what we can or cannot do. No one should be able to dictate our lives and tell us that we're not good enough because we are who we are and only we can determine where our paths go. This song also may be about gays but it brings a very intelligent, stronger meaning that we should respect and treat everyone equally no matter who they are. Macklemore is a genius writer to rap about a whole different and relevant aspect people experience and not like other rap songs that are about useless about drinking and other stuff.

Celebrate - MIKA:

"Once I get up, I feel better and I put myself together. I remember those two letters. It will be O-K"
This song is just really a feel good song not only with its beat but with the lyrics which for me, mean that we should always try to get back up and remember that things will turn out great; that they'll be okay.

We Are Who We Are - Little Mix

"I'm the only me in this world"
Only we know who we truly are. We all are unique, special and beautiful in our own ways. This song is very empowering especially to women because it talks about not caring what others say and just standing up for what you believe in.

Carry On - FUN

"May your past be the sound of your feet upon the ground, carry on."
May the bad things/words/people that you might have encountered in the past serve as an inspiration for you to keep going and to not give up on yourself.

Dance On - N-Dubz

"It's gonna be real hard but I'm gonna be okay"
Things might be hard for us at times but we should always believe in ourselves, stand up and work hard for the things you know are worth it. There will always be people who will help you in times of challenges, difficulty; those who you'll always feel good being around because you know they love you for who you are. Sooner or later, you'll reach all that you wanted to achieve and you'll look back on what you did to go that far and all those quite stressful, sleepless nights were worth it and being truly grateful to those who stood by you and never lost hope in you.

But I'm glad you're letting out these motivational/happifying thoughts :D

I'm really insecure too and I always think people are going to analyze every single thing I do, and I think they're always watching me, then I realize, why should they even care about me? XD

Anyway so, I really love the second paragraph, it's really relatable and heartening hehe :D
